My Oeuvre

Music, Poems, Opinions, etc.
All musical people seem to be happy; it is to them the engrossing pursuit; almost the only innocent and unpunished passion.
(English writer and clergyman Sydney Smith)

Ginny Video (date)
The story: Ginny asked me to write a song. Of course, I went along….
Ginny This is the Ginny page. Where is the audio file? (In cheidenbacher?) (date)
It’s true, as the song goes. She asked me to write a song. Of course I went along. Now, Ginny was my first love, back is 1958-59. But she broke up with me and broke my poor aching heart. We remained fast friends for a few years. Sixty some odd years later I called her out of the blue, and we renewed our friendship, and I visited Cincinnati the following year. Ginny was married, and we enjoyed a great time catching up. Then came the song. We visited a few years following and continued to talk on the phone, during which time her husband died. Ginny moved into an old people’s home, and died in April 1966.
